CDIS Web
The Child Development Information System (CDIS) represents a major evolution from its predecessor, the HCD-ISCIS. As a comprehensive database, CDIS stores personal health information for children and families. It allows service providers to collect, use and share personal health information for the purposes of delivering services as part of the early childhood development programs.
I owned and led the end-to-end redesign of this legacy tool. I played a critical role in scoping the project plan, aligning vision with critical stakeholders, and redesigning the workflow, information architecture, and user interface across more than 300 screens.
The redesign was very well perceived during usability testing. This project is scheduled for delivery by the year 2025.

Reflection & Learning
003
1. Trust thyself
Starting as the sole UX designer in my team, the responsibility of designing a new website initially felt daunting. My team helped me get over this by showing me how valuable they thought my contributions were and encouraged me to voice my ideas confidently.
2. Bridging Gaps with Communication
Collaborating closely with Business Analysts and developers, I learned that more communication leads to higher efficiency and better results. Including users in this communication loop was pivotal. It ensured that our designs were not only technically feasible but also user-centric, enhancing the overall project quality. This experience made me realize that success is achieved by bridging gaps through continuous and clear communication across all stakeholders.
